Welcome Message from the Provost

Provost Margaret EverettWelcome to Roger Williams University â€” we are an academic community where curiosity meets purpose and every student is empowered to design their own path toward success.

At ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, our academic experience is built on powerful combinations of interdisciplinary learning, hands-on experiences, and personalized mentorship. Across our eight schools, students are challenged to think critically, act creatively, and apply their knowledge to real-world challenges in Rhode Island, New England, and beyond.

The three Academic Anchors of Marine Science and Innovation, the Designed and Built Environment, and Law, Society, and Justice ignite our academic vision and define the future of education at Roger Williams University. A unique blending of liberal arts and humanities, professional studies, and business and entrepreneurship education supports them. Our students gain a holistic, career-connected learning experience through powerful combinations of majors and minors and through experiences they design along their path through ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½.
